Beat Aussie Streets Every Day.

The original 10 week program to help young people age 12/13 and older develop some basic life tools while learning wrestling and making friends!

This can run as 1 session a week for 10 weeks or any combination through to intensive workshop style of 2 sessions per day!

Participants learn the rules of Beach, Freestyle and Greco roman. They will develop the skills of Beach wrestling and some introductory skills to the 2 wrestling disciplines.

Over the 10 weeks participants learn skills like stress management, anger management, dealing with friendships, negative self image/self acceptance and a lot more! Perhaps most importantly they make friends and learn they are not as alone as they sometimes feel.

Australia's first high performance youth wrestling program! Created by Coach Gregory based on the same training systems and progressions that made Karen Gregory the youngest Australian to ever attend Under 17 World Championships, the first Australian invited to the Tallinn Open and to win a match there! Youngest Australian to ever attend U17 World championships at 14.

Being on the Dingoes prorgam means access to some of the biggest and best competitions in the world and is open to youth from 8 years and older!

"If you want to be one of the best you need to face the best, how else will you know what good really is?"

Tac Wrestling

Developed specifically to encourage participation of visually impaired community members "Tac Wrestling" or Tactile Wrestling is a unique program with a modified rule set which ensures those with a visual impairment and engage with their fully sighted peers!

It is also an amazing experience for fully sighted athletes as it requires the development of other senses and helps build "flow" in their game.

It's also just a LOT of fun!

Greco - M

Developed for Under 17's and younger to learn and compete in Greco-Roman wrestling in Australia! Greco-M or Greco-Modified is uniquely developed for improved safety and inclusion.

This program uses a carefully modified rule set and structured perfromance requirements from coaches to create a safe program to support young people while they learn the skills of Greco-Roman wrestling.

Young people learn the fundamental skills to safely participate in Greco-Roman wrestling and gain the knowledge to enjoy and respect the sport.

This is the ONLY Greco-Roman rule set available for competitions in Australia because of the safety processes developed to make it possible.

Deaf wrestler training

No, it's not special training for wrestlers who are deaf. It's for the rest of us so we have some idea of how to be better coaches and officials to support these young people (and not so young).

  • Basic Auslan training.

  • Modifications to referee conduct.

  • Coaching hints.

  • Deaf awareness training.

  • Specialist equipment for coaching/refereeing.

The program is all about making it fun, inclusive and enjoyable. We do this we some specially developed equipment and a lot of additional study for coaches and referees.

Completing this is a BIG deal!

"Pups" Wrestling Program

This is a carefully developed program designed for 2-6 year olds and aligned to Functional Movement Skills (FMS), which have been shown to have significant impact on development in later life.

Aligned to the school term with additional activities during holiday time these sessions help ensure children get a good section of their recommended 180 minutes (3 hours) per day of physical activity.

During sessions children also learn;

  • Respect for themselves and others.

  • Discipline and self regulation.

  • Physical aptitude and body awareness.

  • Body acceptance and acceptance of others.

  • Rules of wrestling.

  • Working as part of a team while still being an individual.
